My good friend, Spiritualist Nancy Glenn publishes a monthly newletter concerning things spiritual. I always find her messages of value to me. I have posted one of her latest ones on my Good Stuff page because I think it is extremely Good Stuff. Please take a look and leave a comment on my blog page if you would care to. Nancy and I would both appreciate your comments.
Travel with Alexandra Williams through the mystic countryside of the Scottish Highlands. Confronted by two unruly spirits, she goes along unwillingly as they give her a taste of 1692 Scotland. In the company of a kinsman, John MacDonald, Alex discovers much more than her family roots. On the way to a new life, a truth about her closest friend, Sammy Murphy, nearly shatters her as she watches Sammy change into a complete stranger.
This is a charming romance novel with a touch of the paranormal and bloody history. An American woman of Scottish descent travels to the land of her ancestors to explore her family's history. There Alex meets a distant relative, John and is instantly drawn to his charm and good looks. Her feelings are reciprocated. However, she is beset with dreams of terrible events that took place in the glen in the late 17th century and also haunted by the ghosts of ancestors long past. Past meets present in this contemporary love story with an historical twist as Alex glimpses the tragic life she may have led over 300 years before, while trying to come to terms with new feelings and life she might lead in today's world. An enjoyable read.
